Folders Structure

At the beginning of your account are these folders:

/backups

/domains

/mail

/public_html

/backups

The /backups folder contains all backups created by the control panel. You will not have a /backup folder until you create a backup in the control panel.

/domains

The /domains folder contains the files related to your hosting account(s). Each domain hosted by your account has its own directory. (/domains/uwdomeinnaam.com). In this leaflet you will find:

/logs (monthly logs are stored here—The folder was created one month later than your account.)

/private_html (all files accessible by SSL — https://)

/public_html (files for your general website)

/public_ftp (files for your FTP site)

/stats (files created by Webalizer for statistics – do not change or delete this folder)

/mail

The /mail folder contains files created by the server’s mail system. Do not change, change or add anything to this folder.

/public_html

The /public_html folder at the beginning of your account is actually a link to /domains/uwdomeinnaam.com/public_html. If you have more than one domain hosted on your account, this link will send you to the public_html folder of the first domain created on your account.
