The control panel has a built-in messaging system. Click on “Message System” and you will go to the message system menu. “X messages waiting” will always be displayed next to this link. The messages may contain important information, so please read them as soon as possible.

 

The messaging system has two components: a ticket support system and a private message system. If you need help you can click on “Create a Ticket”. Snellhosting.nl will reply to this ticket and you can then click on the ticket name to read it. Private messages are shown in the same list. Private messages may be different because they are not a response to a ticket. Private messages include e.g. scheduled downtime alerts, system-wide announcements, and alerts about your exceeding your limit. To read a private message, click on it.

 

Creating a Ticket

1. Click on “Create a Ticket”.

2. Select the priority:

Low: The problem does not cause any immediate difficulty.

Medium: The problem causes immediate difficulty.

High: The problem needs to be addressed right away.

3. Enter a topic that describes the problem in a few words.

4. Explain the problem in detail.

5. Click “Save.”

The help desk can reply to your ticket and then close it. A ticket will be closed when the issue is resolved or no further assistance is needed. If you don’t see new messages in the ticket list, click on “View Closed Tickets”. If you believe that your problem has not been resolved, you can still reply to the closed ticket.
