1) Click on the Settings icon on your iPad. 2) Choose “Mail, Contacts, calendars” and then “Add account..”. 3) Choose “Other”. 4) Choose “Add mail account”. 5) Fill in your name, the email address we are going to add, the password associated with the email address and a description. 6) You can adjust the description to your own wishes. Choose “Next” 7) Choose whether you want to add the email address as IMAP or POP. 8) Enter the name of the incoming mail server at Hostname, your full email address as username and the password associated with your email address. If email goes through your web hosting package, the incoming mail server is: mail.uwdomein.nl, where uwdomein.nl is your own domain name. 9) Fill in the same information in Outgoing Mail Server. 10) Choose “Save”. 11) Adding the email account is now successful. Are you now trying to send an email. If you cannot connect to the outgoing mail server, change the port as follows: Choose Settings Choose “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” Choose the email account you just added. Choose the account. Choose SMTP under “Outgoing Mail Server”. Choose the main server. Change the server port to port 587. Please try again to send the email. If this still does not work, check all settings again, a typo is easily made.
