The SIDN, or Foundation for Internet Domain Name Registration in the Netherlands, is the body behind the issuance of Dutch .nl domain names. Issuing bodies, also known as registry, are responsible for managing the issuance and regulations surrounding a domain name. To register a domain name, you cannot go to a registry, but a registrar. A registrar is a party that works together with a registry. You cannot register your domain name directly with the SIDN, but you can register it via ServerMeister.
