A Managed VPS is a virtual server that is maintained by our system administrators. Our helpdesk is always available and ensures an optimally functioning system.
We ensure that maintenance, updates and security are properly arranged.
A Managed VPS is suitable for anyone who has one or a few large websites where speed and uptime are important. Think, for example, of a company website, webshop or application that must always be lightning fast and accessible.
With a Managed VPS, you do not get direct access to the server’s operating system. You don’t have to worry about system administration. If you do need ‘root’ access to the server, this can of course always be arranged.
Nothing is more annoying than the unavailability of your surroundings without you being aware of it. With Servermeister’s monitoring service, you will receive an instant notification, day and night, as soon as your server stops responding to a request. Depending on your choice, the notifications are sent by email or by SMS. Upon delivery of the monitoring service, Servermeister’s network administrators will contact you to fine-tune the server and services to be monitored.
We offer server management for control panels such as DirectAdmin, CPanel and Plesk. This is standard in our package and you don’t have to pay anything extra for it.
No, we are one of the few carrier-neutral system operators. It doesn’t matter where your server is located, as long as we have access to the server and the control panel in case of any problems.
We work closely with the following hosting parties: TransIP, Digital Ocean and GoDaddy.
