TransIP offers fast, reliable virtual private servers (VPS) with a wide range of control panels such as Plesk, DirectAdmin or CPanel. TransIP’s virtual servers are unmanaged by default; this is, of course, not ideal if your business relies on the software running on these servers.

We offer an affordable monthly subscription for server management of VPS servers at Strato.

We make sure that your server is properly secured and that bug fixes and patches are installed on your server. For example, we update the software packages on the server every month and optimize them where necessary. Our support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support you in managing your Linux server. Whichever package you choose, we will always intervene immediately in case of emergency.

Smart server management

Your server will be connected to our smart monitoring system. This gives us direct insight into your entire server such as disk space, network, processor and memory. We set up smart notifications so that you immediately receive a notification when your disk is almost full or your php script is using a little too much memory. A smart way to monitor, completely secure and minimizes downtime.

TransIP offers ‘unmanaged’ hosting. This means that TransIP is responsible for keeping the hardware, storage and network connection online but does not support software or server configuration. You have to do this yourself, but it can quickly become a full-time job. Servermeister manages your TransIP servers so you can focus on what really matters.  

In theory, a well-maintained server does not go offline quickly due to internal problems and the TransIP network gives you a success formula for optimal uptime. If your server does go offline, our engineers are always ready to intervene immediately, we do this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and on weekends.  

Many of our customers (with or without their own ICT department) choose to periodically hire one of our certified system administrators. Remote is a lot possible, but more and more of our customers are also opting for a system administrator who periodically comes to the location to support the optimal keeping of the components. For companies with their own ICT department, an additional system administrator is an important means to increase the knowledge and experience of their own ICT department. We always link a permanent system administrator to a customer so that you do not always have a different face on the floor during periodic system management.

Nothing is more annoying than the unavailability of your surroundings without you being aware of it. With Servermeister’s monitoring service, you will receive an instant notification, day and night, as soon as your server stops responding to a request. Depending on your choice, the notifications are sent by email or by SMS. Upon delivery of the monitoring service, Servermeister’s network administrators will contact you to fine-tune the server and services to be monitored.

We offer server management for control panels such as DirectAdmin, CPanel and Plesk. This is standard in our package and you don’t have to pay anything extra for it.

You remain in charge of your own virtual server with TransIP and this is also in your personal TransIP account. We log in externally for our monthly maintenance and will contact TransIP directly if necessary.
