Request a quotePHP2Shell was a critical vulnerability in PHP itself, the language that powers a large portion of all websites. Attackers could use it to execute code on servers without logging in. Those who didn’t patch in time had to take their sites offline or risk being hacked. Important online business could no longer be conducted.

How we kept Webvalue online
As soon as PHP2Shell became known, we scaled up our response. No ticket in the queue, but a direct line to Webvalue’s support team.
Temporary measures implemented on all Plesk servers so attackers could no longer gain access.
Determined together with Webvalue’s support team which sites and PHP versions were given priority.
Every PHP version on every server updated and services restarted. The sites remained online.
Logs reviewed for signs of abuse and temporary blocks removed.
Result
Webvalue’s clients noticed nothing from PHP2Shell. Their websites and webshops remained accessible.
