Learn how to manually set up your iPhone and iPad to receive and send email with your own email address.
- Go to ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Under “Accounts,” > select “New Account”
- Select “Other”
- Select ‘Add mail account’
New
- Enter your name under ‘Name’
- Enter your full email address under ‘Email’
- Enter the password of your e-mail address under ‘Password’
- Enter an e-mailbox description under ‘Description’
- Select ‘Next’
- Select IMAP
Server incoming mail
- Enter ‘Hostname’: mail.uwdomeinnaam.nl (replace ‘uwdomeinnaam.nl’ with your own domain name)
- Enter your full email address under ‘Username’
- Enter the password of your e-mail address under ‘Password’
Outgoing mail server
- Enter ‘Hostname’: mail.uwdomeinnaam.nl (replace ‘uwdomeinnaam.nl’ with your own domain name)
- Enter your full email address under ‘Username’
- Enter the password of your e-mail address under ‘Password’
- Select ‘Next’
- Select ‘Yes’ for the message: ‘No connection via SSL. Do you want to configure the account without SSL?’
- Select Save
